KOLEKTİF HAREKET - İEU GSTF SOSYAL SORUMLULUK PROJE TOPLULUĞU 

İzmir Ekonomi Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesi İçmimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü Öğretim Görevlisi Didem Kan-Kılıç öncülüğünde Güzel Sanatlar ve Tasarım Fakültesi bünyesinde kurulan Sosyal Sorumluluk Proje Topluluğu, fakülte öğretim elemanları ve gönüllü öğrencileri ile çalışmalarına başlamıştır. Sosyal sorumluluk projelerinin başarısının toplumun gerçek ihtiyaçları ile uyumlu olması gerekliliğine inanan bu topluluk, kendi amacına da uygun olarak fakülte binası içinde bir “Mıntıka Temizliği” yapmıştır. Bu temizlik sırasında, öğrenci projelerinden arta kalan malzemeler toplanmış ve tekrar kullanılabilen bu malzemelerle (ana malzemesi kağıt olan) yeni ürünler tasarlanmıştır. “GERİ-KAZAN! ÜST-DÖNÜŞÜM TASARIM” sergisinde “Kolektif Hareket” başlığıyla sergilenecek olan bu ürünler sonrasında satışa sunulacak ve elde edilen gelirle bir köy okulunun aktivite odası ve kütüphanesi tasarlanacaktır. Akademisyen ve tasarımcılar olarak enerji ve yeteneğimizi tasarımın toplumsal yönlerine yoğunlaştırmakta ve tasarımın bu yöndeki gücüne çok inanmaktayız. Bu sebeple, “HAREKETE GEÇ” sloganıyla yola çıkan bu topluluğun hedefi, üniversite ölçeğinde sürdürülebilir bir dayanışma platformu oluşturmaktır.

COLLECTIVE ACT – İUE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PROJECT UNIT

The Social Responsibility Project Unit carries on it’s activities under the leadership of Didem Kan-Kılıç in İzmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design with it’s faculty members and volunteer students. We believe that the success of social responsibility projects must be in harmony with the actual needs of the community. Therefore, in accordance with our own purpose, a “Zone Cleaning” was made within the faculty. During this cleaning, all “re-usable” left over materials from student projects were collected. New products with these re-usable materials (mainly paper) were designed. In the exhibition called “RECLAIM! UPCYCLING DESIGN”, these products will be exhibited in the name of a “Collective Act”. Later, the exhibited products will be offered for sale and the activity room and library of a village school will be designed with the income. As academicians and designers, we condense our energy and ability to the social aspects of design and we strongly believe in the power of design in this aspect. Therefore, our main goal, which is founded with the slogan “ACT FOR”, is to create a sustainable solidarity platform at university level.
